Kirstie's Handmade Christmas 2021

In October 2021, I had the absolute pleasure of being a contestant on Kirstie's Handmade Christmas! What. an. experience.

I got asked to appear on the show to make one of my magical papercut baubles. I had 4 hours to capture my favourite city in a bauble winter wonderland, inspired by my surprise trip to Paris. The set was just magical, filled with Christmassy goodness:

I completely even forgot that it was a competition, when I met my fellow contestants. They were all SO funny, and fantastic company (I couldn't have asked for better people to experience this with). Everyone was so talented, and all of our styles were so different so it was a pleasure to spend the day alongside people who were as passionate about paper as me! 

And yes, Kirstie was as fabulous in person as she is on the Telle. I am a huge fan (so had to really try and contain my excitement around her). She was just lovely, had a cracking sense of humour and really wanted to spend time getting to know each of us & was very eager to have a go at our crafts!
